The "Race Day Report" is Bourbon County High School’s continuously updated hub for important announcements , designed to keep students, staff, and families informed and inspired. Aligned with our “Run Your Race” theme, the report highlights upcoming events, academic priorities, student celebrations, and campus-wide initiatives that drive the Maroon and Gold Standard. It’s our way of ensuring everyone is on track and that your child can "run their race!".
STUDENTS THAT ARE NOT IN HIGH SCHOOL MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT TO GET IN ATHLETIC EVENTS. GATE WORKERS HAVE BEEN ADVISED TO TURN AWAY ANY UNACCOMPANIED MINOR.

Important Message for Students & Families: An automated Infinite Campus message regarding failing grades was inadvertently sent to all students and families this afternoon. Please disregard that message. We apologize for any confusion or concern this may have caused.
For our students, September 11, 2001, is history. For so many in our Bourbon County community, it is a day they will never forget.
Our Media Arts students sat down with BCHS and BCMS staff members and local first responders to hear their memories of where they were and what they remember from that day. Today, we share their stories as we remember the lives lost, honor the heroes who answered the call, and keep our promise to never forget.

Consent forms for your student to receive a flu vaccination at school will be available in the front office or via email. In light of the questions regarding the new policy surrounding backpacks/personal items in the classroom, and in striving to always provide clear communication to our school community, please see below information that will hopefully answer some of the questions regarding the same.
Please know that no decision made by the BCHS SBDM council or administration is made lightly or without consideration of the best interests of the students and staff being at the forefront. We appreciate in advance your trust and support as we continue to do what we believe will best enhance safety, avoid distractions, and reduce disciplinary issues in our classrooms, all in an effort to foster an optimal environment for student success.
