For our students, September 11, 2001, is history. For so many in our Bourbon County community, it is a day they will never forget.

Our Media Arts students sat down with BCHS and BCMS staff members and local first responders to hear their memories of where they were and what they remember from that day. Today, we share their stories as we remember the lives lost, honor the heroes who answered the call, and keep our promise to never forget.

This video shares just a glimpse of their stories. Visit the Colonel Media Network to hear the interviews in their entirety and the more in-depth memories and reflections shared by our staff and local first responders.

🎥 "Where were you?"

Now we want to hear from you, Bourbon County: Where were you on September 11, 2001? Share your memories in the comments.
